The top 10 things you can do to avoid the flu

One credible hypothesis that explains the seasonal nature of flu is that influenza is a vitamin D deficiency disease.  Vitamin D levels in your blood fall to their lowest point during the flu seasons.  Unable to be protected by the body’s own antibiotics (antimicrobial peptides)

Four critical elements our bodies need!

Let’s talk about the liver.  I keep noticing that many of my patients are having symptoms of a struggling liver, so I thought I would help you understand how the liver works.
Outside toxins and chemicals from drugs and sugars must go through the liver to be converted into something the body can safely use.  The liver uses glutathione to convert all those bad things.
The four critical elements our bodies need in order for you and me to survive;

  1. Air
  2. Water
  3. Food
  4. Glutathione

When we “run out” of this important element, our liver starts to wrap all those bad chemicals in fat and store them …  where ever it can!  That’s bad!
Glutathione has hundreds of functions in the body. But for most people, if we are able to remember the 5 main benefits, we will be familiar with about 90% of what glutathione does:
I will give you AN IDEA here:

  1. It is your Body’s own Master Antioxidant
  2. It is an Immune System Booster and Balancer
  3. It enhances Detoxification of toxins, pollutants, chemicals, etc.
  4. It regenerates mitochondria at the cellular level, giving you Energy
  5. It has an Anti-Aging Effect on your cells.

Research is being done at an ever increasing rate today. As a result, it is now understood that a healthy eyeball has high levels of glutathione, and an eyeball with cataracts is lacking in it.
Let me help you increase your glutathione levels.  Come in for an adjustment and let me teach you what things you need to do for your liver!!

Chiropractic is for Babies!

I welcomed my new 6 pound 11 ounce grandson into the world with his first adjustment on the third day of life. He was born Sunday, the 21st, and I checked his spine on Tuesday as soon as he got home. Birth can be hard on these little guys. The pressure against the head is quite substantial and can cause quite a bit of trouble if the vertebrae get stuck and quit moving. I’ve found that babies sleep better, cry less, have less colic, have stronger immune systems – after they get adjusted.
I was grateful to be able to help my daughter earlier Sunday. This little guy was insisting on being born posterior. With a technique called “Webster Technique” I was able to convince him otherwise. He settled down into the correct position for birth and my daughter immediately started having less back labor and more productive labor. That was a great chiropractic moment. It is thrilling to see someone benefit so dramatically through chiropractic!

Chiropractic and Mood Swings
Men like to think that women have the claim on mood swings, but everyone: men, women, adolescents and the elderly can be affected. In fact, according to WebMD.com, up to 5% of the general population is affected by a dysthymic disorder, or mood disorder.
Rather than taking medications, you can try alternative natural ways for a solution. Since mood swings may be the result of a person’s body missing a natural ingredient, chiropractic care combined with exercise could eliminate mood swings. What we feel physically can drive what we feel emotionally. Therefore, correcting the physical through regular adjustments and physical activity can help with the emotional. Physical pain can be a large factor in someone who has a foul mood. Removing that pain can play a large part in improving a bad mood.
With chiropractic care, removing subluxation will restore proper nerve flow, in turn, restoring the optimum performance of the nerve and function. Subluxation is the misalignment of the vertebrae, restricting motion and interfering with the spinal nerve. Getting adjustments, combined with some physical therapy and laser therapy, can result in better spinal health and overall health.
Additionally, tweaking your diet and supplements could aid in balancing your mood levels.

Why do I need to be adjusted if I’m not in pain?? Every science of healing has what is known as an “avenue of approach.” In the field of medicine, a hypodermic needle injects drugs through the skin; a pill is swallowed and goes into
