Sound wave therapy, also known as shock wave therapy, is a sound wave machine that creates acoustic wave that carries high energy into the tissue. The energy breaks up the tissue slightly to stimulate the healing process that has been delayed or halted. This therapy repairs and regenerates bone, tendons, and soft tissue of the body. Dr. Stone has served on the Utah Chiropractic Physicians Association Board since 2002 in a variety of capacities including Vice President, President, and Treasurer.
